Terrence Malick

Terrence Malick's 1978 masterpiece, DAYS OF HEAVEN, has been reissued by the BFI for a limited run at selected cinemas. The film has been digitally remastered and approved by the Director and I can report that it is absolutely stunning.
I have seen the film dozens of times before, both on Terrestrial tv, and DVD but this new restoration is absolutely incredible, unveiling images and colours totally unseen since its original 70mm release.
The BFI have done the movie proud with a beautiful new Poster that captures the films legendary Magic Hour photography.
Hopefully a UK Blu-Ray release will follow soon - but for those that can't wait, the US Criterion Blu-ray is outstanding and worth investing in a multi-region player.
